Part one is written in first person, with small chapters about different topics, memories and questions readers asked Beth. They asked her about her job as a writer or Amish dresses, bathrooms, relationships, buggy rides...etc. The second part is a short novella 'An Amish adoption,' about foster care as parents and fostered children. Amish books are God-centred, as their lives are. "My biggest surprise is while writing the books, I've unknowingly been ministering to myself." This is an interesting, detailed, funny, easy and fast to read book. I had a pleasant time reading it. This book was provided courtesy of the author through Interviews & Reviews.
