Laura J. Davis

Picture
Laura J. Davis is a former singer/songwriter with a 30-year career in music ministry. She turned to writing full-time when an emergency surgery resulted in the loss of her singing voice. Months later, she would be diagnosed with a debilitating and incurable disease. As she puts it, "I was stuck at home with nothing to do but write." And so, with the same determination she gave to her singing ministry, Laura dedicated her next phase in life to writing for the Lord.

Her first book, Come to Me, a novel about the life of Christ through the eyes of His mother, won a Reader's Favorite Honourable Mention for Historical Fiction in 2011. She followed that up with a companion Bible study called Learning from the Master, Living a Surrendered Life. She soon found her niche - writing Bible studies. This book was featured in Book Fun Magazine as the non-fiction Book of the Month first place winner. He Who Has an Ear, Who the Seven Churches of Revelation are Today was tied for third place in the Reader's Choice (Book Fun Magazine) Non-Fiction Book of the year for 2014.

Her latest book, Unlocking the Truth of Daniel, is a Bible study that takes a hard look at history and prophecy. Showing Daniel's prophecy is almost entirely fulfilled. You follow Laura through her website at www.laurajdavis.com.
