What a wonderful story!  I'm so glad that I chose this book by the appearance of its cover and its title. Which are beautiful, I might add. The characters are well developed and I found myself envisioning myself standing right there next to them as I read. The storyline pulls you in with every chapter. I couldn't put this book down. 

I highly recommend this book to be read by all regency romance readers.

The beautiful cover, the heartrending description, and the genre.

I was pleasantly surprised when we found Where the Stars Meet the Sea in the mailbox long before I expected to find it.

One of my favorite tropes of ALL TIME is broken characters, I love seeing how they heal, change, learn to love again, and are no longer in a dark place. This book was no different in how I liked the brokenness of Halstead, though I disliked it since it wasn't to God's glory and therefore I'm slightly dissatisfied by the ending. Another thing I liked was Juliet's love for her brother, the care she takes of him. I liked the Cinderella feel of this Regency romance.

Something like a Pride and Prejudice, Cinderella mix. The plot is somewhat normal but not too common to be cliche. The older women in Halstead's life were somewhat like Lady Catherine, and his sister was a steller character that I liked as a side character.

*sigh* I love regency era books so, so much. The regency era is seriously one of my favorite time eras to read about, and this book was so good! I love how even though plots in these stories are similar, every author brings their own flair and uniqueness to these stories.

I loved Juliet and Halstead so much. They were such dynamic characters individually, and together they were amazing. I loved their chemistry and watching them grow into better people around each other. Their chemistry was seriously the best thing ever. I loved watching them interact with each other, they were just too cute!

The plot was one that isn't highly unique, but I did enjoy Ms. Kimball's take on it. I loved watching all the various characters interact, even when I wanted to punch a few in their sorry faces a few times. The pacing of the story was perfect, and I honestly did not want to put this book down once I started it. It was that good!

I will definitely be checking out more of Ms. Kimball's books, and I recommend this one! It is so good and will hook you from the beginning!

From the stunning cover to the setting in Regency England and the captivating, colorful, well-drawn characters, this book drew me in and wouldn’t let go.

Heidi Kimball has penned a creative, beautifully written tale that tugged at my heartstrings and kept me turning pages. Juliet Graham is a determined, engaging young woman who can’t wait until she turns 21 so she and her younger brother Harry can escape her oppressive, uncaring aunt’s guardianship. The Duke of Halstead has become a forbidding recluse since his leg was severely damaged in a riding accident two years before. When Juliet and Halstead meet, sparks fly, although not the loverly kind. Juliet tends to speak her mind, which intrigues and sometimes infuriates Halstead. I enjoyed seeing their relationship grow and change.

Full of intrigue, suspense, controlling and annoying relatives, and a good dose of romance, this story is sure to delight those who enjoy historical fiction set in Regency times. I’m looking forward to reading more of Kimball’s stories.
