When I first read the info about Time and Time Again, I was anxious to read it as it sounded like The Time Traveler's Wife. It was sort of like that, but this time traveller got to keep his clothes on.

Beautifully written, there is no denying Bonnie Grove is a superb writer. She quickly involves you in the story and doesn't let you go until the last page. It is provocative, mysterious, and when finished reading it, you will be ruminating over how it ended for days.

However, one aspect of this book left me unsettled and left me torn on my feelings for this book. On the one hand, it is excellent writing, but on the other, the use of demon possession and astral projection is as far from a Christian experience as one can get. However, Isobel is the one light in this book, and it is her prayers that provide a way back from the darkness for Gwen. It would have been nice to see how that played out.

The writing is top-notch, and the story is compelling and intriguing, but the subject matter may be too dark for some.
