Davis If you like adventure, romance and historical fiction you will love The Songbird and the Spy by J'Nell Ciesielski. The author takes us deep into France during WWII where Hitler has invaded, the French Resistance is fighting back and no one can be trusted. Right from the start of this book you are hooked and the author keeps the action coming. It is clear Ciesielski has done her research. Her attention to detail and her descriptive phrases left me feeling like I had just watched a movie and I could clearly see this becoming a movie! The growing attraction between Michael and Claire is interesting as neither one wants to trust the other with their secrets. When the truth finally comes out ... well, you'll have to read the book to see what happens! While not overtly Christian in nature, this was still an enjoyable read and I look forward to more from the author. Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
