The Return... I loved the characters in the story. The author brings you right into the Historical Amish Romance. This story had a lot of adventure. Honest but suspense in romance. A very moving story.

Heart-wrenching, captivating, soul moving novel. Fisher has yet to disappoint me. The trials the natives and migrants both experienced around the years this novel was set are almost incomprehensible. At least for me to grasp. What a troubling time. Excellent job depicting those hardships while revealing the hope people still held on to.

Even now, if we can let go of our isms of one group over another and hold on to the fact, at the end of the day we belong to the Holy One, talk about peace on Earth. Thank you for this reminder!

I have not read the two previous books in this series but it did not detract from my enjoyment of the story. Suzanne is a story-weaver of excellence. I loved reading of the experiences of Betsy Zook and Tessa Bauer back in 1763. The author tells the tale from both the settlers’ and the natives’ point of view. I found it exciting from start to finish and would recommend it to anyone who loves Christian historical fiction. Both girls learned much about themselves and their relationship to God throughout their experiences.
