Wow, this book really had me on a rollercoaster. I was trying to guess to see who I thought the bad guy was, but I was sorely mistaken. If you are looking for a good mystery with a Christmasy feeling, Snow Globe Secrets is the book.
The main characters, Tom and Alexis, sort of instantly clicked. It is like love at first sight, but without all the cringy feelings that trope has. I am not a fan of love at first sight, but this book was different. The only thing I didn’t like was that there was a third-act breakup scene, if you will. I don’t like those, but thankfully it was kept short.
The mystery aspect of this book was on par with some of the other good mystery books I’ve read. It wasn’t predictable to where it was boring. It was interesting because all my guesses were wrong. Laura Thomas really pulled a good mystery together.
I received this book from the author through Interviews & Reviews. All opinions are my own.
