There was definitely spiritual references throughout the book. The main characters did have personal relationships with God and attend church. However, the spiritual content was not impactful to me personally as a reader.

Lost Deep Down by Sara Davison is an intriguing book to read and will hold your attention until the final page. It was interesting how Sara wove all the different characters and their roles (individual plots) together. Sara's writing shows a beautiful blend of warmth, love, conflict, fear and the personal growth and depth of relationships that are a result of that.

While I disliked some content in Lost Down Deep, it was a good suspense.

At times it dragged, with too much description, and at first, I didn't like Jude, eh, Ryan, whichever you want to go with, I liked how he grew, changed, and I liked the romance side of Lost Down Deep.

As the story progresses, I enjoyed how the suspense was shown. But, toward the end of the book, when the suspense was wrapping up, it was almost like BAM. The author had been leading up to a big thing, and the suspense was going strong, and the ending was just a tad bit rushed.

Summer was an intriguing character with her past, not knowing who had attacked her, and then with Ryan... It was interesting!

I also liked Nancy's character, I enjoyed that she was something of a mentor to the leading lady.
