Will they ever find their way back to the love they lost, but both desperately want? Set against the stunning backdrop of northwestern Montana, In From the Storm is the second book in the Canadian Meadows series, a tale of lost love, lost hope, and the healing grace of forgiveness. Reviewer: Marilene VE In From The Storm from Erin Stevenson is an amazing story about two wounded people who meet each other in a different way they never thought of, the illness of a child, their child. Vanessa Kingston is almost the wife of the son of the likely next president. She is very busy planning her wedding when one day she gets a call from a woman with news she never expected to get. From that moment on, she finds herself on a rollercoaster of uncertainty and secrets that seemed buried deep come to the surface. What can she do to save the life of her child whom she gave up for adoption? Since the betrayal of his wife, Ben Garritsen has never felt as empty as he does now. Although his career there is fulfilling, he cannot forget the woman to whom he first gave his heart. When one day he is confronted with the life-threatening situation of their child, he can do nothing but try with heart and soul to save his child's life. But then his life changes when a heart problem is discovered in him and he is put in a coma. This book is a great story that takes you from the first page and doesn't let go until you finish the book. The characters are well described and they feel like friends when you finish the book. You can sympathize with them very well. I look forward to the next part in the series. Although the book is part of the series: Canadian Meadows Series, it can be read well separately. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys inspirational romance with depth. Leave a Reply. |
