​This Christian Poetry Collection, has a little over 18 narrative style poems. The words come alive in this book, as the author delves into having a personal relationship with Christ. Hope-rooted in faith is a key component to many of the poems.

The book starts out with poems about the author and what brought her to a writing life. With a love of word play and sound, she writes with an eye towards hope and her gaze ever fixed on Christ. With a heart towards the believer and the non-believer, she uses rhyme and scripture to make her point.

Heb 7:19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

These poems are beautiful, loving, caring and heartfelt! I was very inspired. I read a few poems each morning during my devotion time. They were very encouraging to my daily walk with Jesus. I look forward to reading more poetry from Kari L. Greenaway. I would rate this as a 5.

The author herself says that, "my goal in writing these poems, is to share Scriptural truths, and insights as the Spirit leads me . . . " Poetry is often a song of the soul, born out of deep internal struggles that only the Lord God Almighty can understand and interpret. Kari has used her struggle with mental illness to glorify the One who has saved her. 

"Because He is the God who knows, The prayers within my mind. He says to go to prayer with Him, In things I want or need."

"Keep us safe Dear Lord, In the shelter of Thy wings. for Your mercy upholds us, Whatever life brings."
