Reviewer: Kandace Perry Her Good Girl by Elaine Stock explores the gritty reality of life and the messiness of family and friendships. It explores a level of honesty, betrayal, heartache and most importantly forgiveness that we can only experience when God is in our midst. Stock reminds us that we can be lost and searching while God waits for us. God is always present and showing us His love and care through praying family members ... even a stranger can unexpectedly show genuine concern and transform our lives. Her Good Girl portrays the power of forgiveness ... not forgetting where we come from and the painful experiences we have been through, but seeing our strength in overcoming them with the anticipation of a brighter future. Reviewer: Gee Dixon This book was really confusing to me. It was a real challenge for me to continue reading to the end. It seemed broken up. I did get into it more in the last four chapters or so, but it was more about Sadie’s father that was interesting. When the author, in the last chapter, showed how Sadie and her family could be a family now, even though they have many challenges ahead but they could get through it by putting God first.
