Free Fall is intense, suspenseful, and hair-raising! This is a roller coaster ride for sure, which is appropriate to its amusement park setting. Free Fall is the third installment in The Quantico Files series. Although part of a series, it can easily be read on its own. Characters from other books in the series are introduced here in a way that is easy to follow. Alex Donovan and Logan Hart are part of the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit. Initially, they are called on to write a profile of a missing woman. It is soon revealed that a number of women are missing, all with similar sizes and hair colors. Mehl has done a masterful job of developing the villain, giving us an understanding of how FBI profiling works and keeping us on the edge of our seats as the story unfolds. There are lots of twists and turns and unexpected twists along the way. While this is an intense read, the intensity is balanced by the developing love story between Alex and Logan and their growing faith. Kudos to Ms. Mehl for meticulous research, character development, and plot. This one gets 5 stars! I received a copy of Free Fall from Bethany House Publishers through Interviews and Reviews. The opinions are my own. Leave a Reply. |
