One of the best devotionals in my library. I feel as though I was feed a full course meal. This book is packed with meaty devotionals not for the faint at heart. There is adequate space between each daily devotional for note taking. And I would recommend not rushing into each, preferably reading one in the morning and one in the evening. Furthermore, Lisa chose relevant scriptures and thought provoking questions to coincide with each devotional.

Please, please don't make the mistake of turning up your nose based on the title, you may miss your blessing. The book is not specifically, nor solely for runners or athletes. If you are a Christian, you are running the race of faith until the end when Jesus returns.
