“Embracing Hope” is an easily relatable book about doubts of God’s goodness when bad things happen. A young wife dies 6 months into marriage leaving the husband reeling trying to find a foothold; a father dies and leave a wife and daughter struggling to make ends meet and dealing with grief; alcoholism and physical abuse leave a student struggling between good and evil. The main characters must learn to trust, forgive and as per the title, embrace hope to endeavour to get to tomorrow. It is well written and definitely recommended.
