Author: Janet Sketchley Genre: Devotional 365 Daily Devotions to Warm Your Spirit and Encourage Your Heart “Tenacity” is persistence. Holding on. Not giving up. It’s a quality we need as Christians, and the beautiful thing we discover as we spend time with the Lord is the depth of His tenacity toward us. We may falter, but His hold is sure, His love unshakable, and His grace without limit. Like the wild rose thrives with its roots anchored in the cleft in the rock, we find life and security when we abide in our Rock. The conversational-style insights and heart-sharing moments in A Year of Tenacity will bless and inspire. Entries are numbered by day, not by date, so readers aren’t tied to a calendar year and don’t have to play catch-up if they miss a few days. Honest, engaging, and uplifting, these devotionals are ideal for both long-time Christians and those just finding their way. Reviewer: Kandace Perry A Year of Tenacity by Janet Sketchley is full of strength and warmth and encouragement. Janet has a straightforward approach in reminding us to be patient and steadfast in our lives and our relationship with God. We need persistence and courage and the faith to hold on. God answers in His time not ours. However, we are learning and discovering and maturing in our faith as we wait and journey in this life with God. Hold on. Hold fast. God is in control. He wants us to discover His love, His forgiveness, His greatness in our own lives and hearts. A Year of Tenacity is an uplifting, thought provoking and encouraging way to start your day. Reviewer: Crystal P. My first thought when I started reading this devotional book was how intriguing it was. The Canadian aspect was interesting, and I really appreciate how the author decided to stay true to her core for her heritage and have words spelled the way they were for Canadians. I can't say I'm the perfect person who reads devotions daily nor do I always show interest in them, but A Year of Tenacity was something different and wonderful that I enjoyed. Although I haven't gotten far in the devotions (it's only May, you know, and I started this in April sometime), I plan to try my best to keep up with this. And I think that this is a worthwhile resource to have. 5/15/2018 02:56:13 pm
Thank you for taking time to review A Year of Tenacity, Crystal, and I pray the remaining devotionals will bless you. Part of the reason I chose not to date them was that most of us can't keep up with daily readings for very long :)

I remember you mentioning that, now that I think about it. It was quite smart to do that! Anyways, you're welcome and I'll continue reading A Year of Tenacity. :)
