Reviewer: Mariléne VE A great sequel in the Canadian Meadows series by Erin Stevenson is called A Time to Heal. In this book, we meet Rand Kingston, a popular actor and Julie Collins, a widow and mother of a 6-year-old son, Rory. When Rand gets a phone call from Vanessa, his sister, one day that his mother is not doing well, he returns to his hometown after many years of absence. Although they both don't want to admit that they really like each other, well, more than that, they still try to make the best of the time they spend together. Julie doesn't want anything to do with Rand at first but secretly dreams of the next moment she runs into him. Both have their difficulties, not only with their character but also in terms of big decisions. Are they actually meant for each other? While reading this book, I couldn't stop and felt like I was there myself. The characters are very well described, and their story dragged you in from the beginning. Faith plays a big role in the lives of the characters, which makes this book so strong. Although this book is part of the Canadian Meadows series and is the third volume in this series, it can be read very well on its own. This book is definitely recommended for anyone who likes contemporary romance with a strong faith component.
