The Scars Show His Glory

Picture
Author: Ralph Lucien
Genre: Memoir

This book is my testimony of how God healed me from brain cancer and brain injuries. Scars tell a story, whether internal or external. The Scars Show His Glory provides biblical principles on how to position yourself to receive healing from past and present hurts. Identify the nail-scarred hand of Jesus Christ through your scars, and move confidently beyond the past and into a life of peace, healing, and restoration in God's glory.

The Scars Show His Glory by Ralph Lucien is a compelling and uplifting portrayal of courage and strength... a courage and strength that can only come from God. He is our strength. He is the only one that can give us unconditional love, freedom, forgiveness, and peace when everything seems to be going wrong, when the burdens and pain in life threatens to overtake us... God is there. He is always there. Waiting. Longing for us. Offering Himself to us... Lucien courageously shared part of his story with us, the real, raw struggles and pain he went through and how he held on to his faith. He showed us how to look at the scars, not as a painful reminder but how to use them as a reminder of healing, of new beginnings and of God's goodness. When we fully trust in God and rely on Him, He will always bring us through.

Ralph Lucien’s book, The Scars Show His Glory is an inspirational reading experience. He shares his testimony regarding  brain cancer and  brain injuries. God miraculously healed him.

During his adolescence, the doctor discovered a brain tumour. This journey lead him through a variety of medical experiences — appointments, surgeries and medical procedures. Ralph has a passion for the Word of God and “an unshakable belief that God would heal” him.

This book has is an outstanding section on fear. He addresses faith and fear, how fear is fed and how to close the door to fear. When facing challenges, Ralph provides spiritual tools such as the Word of God, spiritual warfare strategies and the importance of forgiveness. The journey left him with scars and he beautifully explains the meaning and purpose of scars. “More than twenty years later” Ralph is “still here and cancer free in the name of Jesus."

This short book packs a powerful message. I would highly recommend
The Scars Show His Glory to individuals or for group discussions.

This book highlights how faith in God is the key to overcoming all that appears difficult to overcome. I would advise everyone to read this book.
