Denise has been a licensed professional counselor in South Carolina for ten years, treating anxiety, depression, life adjustments, and marriages. She has an MA in clinical counseling and began her career as a family therapist working with at-risk families and youth. Additionally, Denise has an M.Ed in education administration with several years of teaching experience in private education. She is a wife and the mother of three children and recently added “Nana” to her list of titles. As an athlete, nursing student, and writer, Drew has always felt a passion for a diversity in putting himself out there. After writing for a publication that consisted of satire, interviewing prominent figures, and more, he decided to step back as a contributor and editor. He began writing pieces independently and it wasn't long until he took on writing "Down to the Heart of It". His goal is to make his faith the foundation and then see what God has from there.
