 Today, I am pleased to welcome author Christine Soule to I & R. Christine lives with the love of her life, Mitch Soule, in Seattle. They have five kids and two wonderful grandchildren (and counting). She is the founder and CEO of Providence Heights (www.providenceheights.org), a non-profit created to house women and children in need and to provide counseling, education, and jobs. Christine is going to talk about her book Broken and Beautiful in which she shares a message of hope as she tells how God took the pieces of her own broken life—childhood abuse, poverty, human trafficking, and more—and turned them all into breathtaking joy and purpose. And she is giving away one print copy away to someone in the U.S. and an eBook to someone outside the U.S.
Welcome, Christine! 5/10/2021 Dale Harris Interview Today, please join me in welcoming Author and Pastor Dale Harris to I & R. Dale is an author, pastor, poet, and songwriter. He writes regularly about faith and spirituality on his blog, Terra Incognita, and explores the deep truths of Christian theology on his YouTube channel, Three Minute Theology.
He taught English literature in St. Paul, Alberta and studied theology in Caronport, Saskatchewan before going into full-time ministry as a pastor in the city of Oshawa, Ontario. His short story "The New Parson of Petit-Wasmes" was recently longlisted for the 2021 CBC Short Story Awards. His first novel, Though I Walk (Word Alive Press) won the Braun Book Award for Fiction in 2020. And today, Dale is going to talk to us about this book! Welcome Dale! |
