Raised in a blue-collar working town that was stuck in the shadows of its’ hey days, Tiffany learned early on the power of community. It was community that came to the aid of a family reeling at the death of the patriarch at the tender age of 41, when Tiffany was only eight years old. This community would walk alongside her mother until all her children were grown. This powerful witness planted the seeds that have fueled Tiffany’s own involvement in community throughout her adult life.
Growing up as the youngest of seven with a mother who seemed to “adopt” every child in the neighborhood meant that times of silence or solitude were rare. It was in the midst of this chaotic environment called home, that Tiffany’s love for books and the world they opened up was borne. Under the strain and stress of many tragedies and desire to bring some sanity to a crazy world, her love of learning deepened. If you want to know just how much of a book worm she is, feel free to connect with her on Goodreads. Her taste in music and in food is just as eclectic as her taste in books. Likewise, her professional career spans specializations not often put together. She’s a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), entrepreneur, business leader and coach, learning consultant, public speaker, and writer. She survived a brain aneurysm rupture at 35, obtained her MBA at 40, and completed first ½ marathon at 41. She loves being a wife and a mother but doesn’t care too much for housework. She’s been known to confuse personality tests as it’s just not that easy to put her into one box.
Underneath all this variety is a person passionately committed to excellence in life. She hasn’t always gotten it right as her books clearly reveals. However, she is committed to the process. Her journey forward continues. If you would like to follow all its twists and turns, you can connect with her on LinkedIn, Facebook, or Twitter (@crosbti).
In addition, she is an an avid reader, averaging 60 books per year. She writes reviews on Goodreads for most of the books she reads and has also posted a few reviews to Amazon. This year she's begun to encourage other Christian writers on Goodreads through reviews and by joining launch teams.
