This was truly amazing! I loved every minute of this story. I simply couldn’t put the book down. 

Wonderful characters that I enjoyed getting to know, except for Rex. Didn’t like him at first. 

Victoria is the one whom I was rooting for. I liked her instantly. This is her story. She’s an amazing person. I loved how she stood up for herself. Wish I were more like her.

Carr Valley is an awesome place to live. I feel like it’s my home with some awesome friends that I made along the way.

There were some places that made me smile, but there were others that I didn’t like. 

Cabot is one of my favorite writers, and I always look forward to her stories. 

5 stars for this amazing read! Well done!

Welcome to Carr Valley! Home to some incredible people and businesses. The hotel is ready to accept guests, but is usually booked for business. The bakery is fully packed with new and exciting desserts, and the dress shop is full of new designs! 

Victoria Holton has come to Carr Valley in dire circumstances. Her father has been accused of a crime and has been locked up in a penitentiary for men in Pennsylvania. Her sister of the heart, Sophia, lives in Texas and has accepted Victoria to come and stay with her. As Victoria is searching for a new purpose, she discovers a mystery that needs to be solved. 

Peter Mulholland is the town pastor. He has dedicated his life to his flock. He was given an ultimatum by his deacons to find a wife or step down from his post. As Peter is trying to figure out what his future holds, he meets a woman he can’t forget. As he is growing in feelings for a new town guest, a mysterious man arrives who changes everything.

This story is amazing! It is action-packed from the first page to the last. I fell in love with all of the characters. I was honestly sad when it ended. This is a must-read!
