Author: Alexandra Davis Genre: Children's Book Pages: 38 Release Date: November 18, 2025 Publisher: Reclaimed for Good Press When a teddy bear is left behind and nearly discarded, his quiet hope sparks a journey of rediscovery. As Bear watches other forgotten treasures find new homes, he wonders if he’ll ever be chosen again. Perfect for children ages 4–8, this heartwarming picture book is ideal for bedtime reading, classroom story time, or meaningful gift-giving. Tuesday’s Bear captures the hearts of children and adults alike with its hopeful message that even the lost can be found, and every story can have a bright new chapter. Reviewer: Katie Slocum Bear is a lost toy who is cleaned up and given a forever home. I love that this tale is based on the true story of Unclaimed Baggage and its far-reaching impact through many years. The artwork on the cover drew me in, and lovely pictures kept me interested throughout. Each page is full of things to find and consistent with the story taking place 50 years ago, while still feeling fresh. Although the author’s “goal is to share unknown stories of faith, hope, and love,” the faith elements are glaringly missing here. I received an advanced copy through a review site for Christian books, and while there is a good message, it is not one based on God or faith. I was ready to turn the final page for the moral of the story, that just like Bear was found and adopted, Jesus does the same for us, but I was disappointed. Although everything I discovered online points to the founder of Unclaimed Baggage being a Christian, that fact was not included. I feel that a golden opportunity was missed in this book to include a spiritual redemption message. Although readers can draw their own parallels to Scriptural principles, there is no mention of God, and overt Biblical truths are never expressed. As a lovely, colorful children’s book that features traditional family, an entrepreneurial spirit, and an enjoyable story for young and old, I can recommend this book. For specific Biblical lessons, however, I would look further. I received a complimentary copy of this e-book courtesy of the publisher through Interviews & Reviews and NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Reviewer: Laura Thomas A delightful tale of an abandoned teddy bear—based on a wonderful true story!
