Reviewer: Carolyn Bryant I have been waiting with anticipation for this concluding addition to the wonderful Faith Endures series. It was everything I hoped for and more! The author's signature heartfelt storytelling shines through in every twist and revelation. This captivating story of friendship, found family, foster care, and faith invited me in with the opening scene then carried me on an emotional journey I didn't want to end and will not soon forget. There were times when the story was both heartbreaking and heartwarming. It is driven by beautifully crafted characters I have come to love and feel a connection to over the course of the series. The way they interact with genuine compassion for each other is uplifting and admirable. To me the phrase "let go and let God", which results in true peace, aptly summarizes the faith message of this story. I also appreciate the reminders of how one life can make a difference in countless others and what a blessing it is to lean on others who God puts in our lives for that purpose. I loved this book and the series and highly recommend it. Note: This book can be read as a standalone; however, for a richer reading experience, I recommend that you read the books in sequence for helpful backstory context and a better understanding of the characters. I received a copy of this book from the author/publisher with no obligation to write a positive review. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Leave a Reply. |
