Or will her Christmas season end on an unholy night? ![]() Reviewer: Elizabeth Eckmeyer This is the first book I have read in this series and I'm honestly going to be reading the rest of them! This was the funniest mystery I have read. Mable is a lawyer who was let go from her job. She just inherited her deceased grandmother's house and is working on cleaning up the house. Her and her boyfriend John are picking out a Christmas tree and Mable's dog Barnacle discovers a human skull. This cracks open a 65-year-old case. Everyone in town is involved and memories are also cracked open. Nita, Mable's childhood friend has discovered that this body being found is close to home. Nita, Mable, John, and Mable's other childhood friend Lisa put all they have into finding out what happened. This is such a fun story. I laughed through most of it. The characters are all so delightful and funny. It's a small-town story where all the characters make the town. I definitely enjoyed this story and if Mable was real I would definitely want her as a friend. I received a complimentary copy courtesy of Mountain Brook Ink through Interviews & Reviews for my honest opinion. Leave a Reply. |
