Reviewer: Marta Aldrighetti This book has a nice cover and inspires me with hope, happiness, and love. It starts with an interesting introduction about the Bible: "The Bible has two parts: the Old Testament with 39 books and the New Testament with 27 books, making a total of 66 books. It took 1500 years to write the Bible, and there were 400 years between the Old Testament and the New Testament. (...) It was written by over 40 different people from all kinds of backgrounds, like priests, fishermen, prisoners, and doctors. They wrote in many styles, including songs, love poems, history, and letters." This book is like a journal. Each day you can write the date, read the verse from the Bible, think about it and about your life, use the prayer model PATH (praise the Lord for, ask forgiveness for, thank God for, ask help for), memorize scriptures, improve your prayer life, and help others with kindness, words, and God's guidance. The book ends with conclusion questions that make you analyze your relationship with God, how you felt praying to God daily, and what you learned about yourself. The title of the book says that it's for kids, but I think it is also useful for adults. I enjoyed reading and writing on it because it was clear, simple, and focused on the Bible sentences. It's a 30-day guide, but it is simple to replicate. You can then choose other Bible sentences and study different Bible books. For my honest opinion, I received a complimentary copy from the author via Interviews & Reviews. |
