As a lifelong puzzle enthusiast, this book immediately stood out as one I had to try. With over 30 pages of trivia and puzzles of various kinds, plus coloring pages and journaling sheets interspersed throughout, all Bible themed, hours of fun await. Besides puzzles, I appreciated the list of ancient names/modern nations equivalents, as well as prophecies that have come to pass and those yet to be fulfilled. I may keep these pages in my Bible for reference. I also thought the fill-in-the-blank song lyrics are a great way to learn hymns you may not know. The journaling pages provide good food for thought for living in the end times. While there are things to learn here, there is no chronological organization, and it is an activity book, not a study guide. A broad base of Bible knowledge is also included, which did not seem to fit with prophecy, such as dinosaurs. Some of the Bible trivia, as well as the word matching pages and crossword puzzles, need chapter and verse references listed to enable the user to get into the Bible to look up answers they do not already know or that were not covered in the book. There are complete answers at the end, however. This is an interesting activity and journaling book for teens and adults. It would make a good high school homeschooling resource as an addition to your Bible curriculum, although it is not a curriculum on its own. As a puzzle enthusiast myself, I enjoyed most of it and would love to find more puzzle books with a scriptural theme. I received a complimentary copy of this e-book from the author through Interviews & Reviews. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Leave a Reply. |
